Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
PDX Backflow ("we," "us") operates pdxbackflow.com, an independent directory of OHA-certified backflow assembly testers. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and the choices you have.
Information we collect
PDX Backflow does not have an account system, a booking form, or a payment flow. Browsing the directory and tapping a tester's phone number to call them does not submit any information to us — it opens your phone's dialer directly, the same as tapping any phone number on the web.
Like most websites, our hosting provider and any analytics or advertising tools we use (see below) may automatically log standard technical information, such as your approximate location, device type, and which pages and links you interact with.
Third-party services
We may use privacy-respecting analytics, and, if we run paid search ads, conversion or click tracking to measure whether an ad led to someone calling a tester through our directory — for example, tracking clicks on "Call" buttons. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Tester directory information
The names, companies, cities, and (where available) phone numbers shown in our directory come from the Oregon Health Authority's public list of certified Backflow Assembly Testers, occasionally supplemented with publicly available contact information. If you're a tester and want a correction or removal, email us at hello@pdxbackflow.com.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for property owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that collect personal information — for example, online booking — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above before that feature launches.
